ARMA 3

Arma 3 is an open world tactical shooter developed and published by Bohemia Interactive exclusively through Steam. It is the third main entry in the Arma series, and the eighth installment in the series overall. Over a decade since its release, Arma 3 maintains a substantial player base and an active modding community.

Arma 3 primarily takes place in the mid-2030s, on the fictional islands of Altis and Stratis in the South Mediterranean Sea. The game’s expansions also add several real-life locations, including parts of Mainland Southeast Asia and Europe. The game’s maps feature realistic terrain and water environments; Arma 3 primarily focuses on infantry, but a wide selection of usable vehicles, including combat vehicles, armored fighting vehicles, military helicopters, multirole combat aircraft, motorboats, and civilian passenger vehicles, are available as well.

Renewable energy plays an important part in Arma 3‘s near-future scenario, though it is represented primarily through environmental assets rather than gameplay mechanics. Wind Turbines that can be found across the maps, especially in rural and open areas. Some buildings, particularly in military and industrial zones, have solar panels installed on their rooftops. Some maps, including custom community-made ones, may include dams or hydroelectric power stations. Despite the presence of these renewable energy structures, Arma 3 does not include mechanics that involve energy production or consumption as the game focuses on military operations, so these assets serve more as background details rather than interactive elements.
